No account or cloud storage
LocalInk does not require a LocalInk account and does not operate a server for journal content. Journal data is stored locally in the app's private storage on your device.
Backups and exports are yours
HTML, PDF, and .localink backup files are readable and unencrypted. HTML and PDF are reports and cannot be restored; a verified .localink backup can restore or move your journal. A provider selected through Android's file picker or Apple's document picker may store or synchronize the file, so protect it after saving or sharing.
App lock uses device authentication
Optional App lock asks Android, iOS, or iPadOS to authenticate you with an available device credential or supported biometric method. LocalInk receives the outcome and limited status or error information, not your credentials.
Restoring LocalInk Pro
LocalInk Pro is an optional one-time purchase, not a subscription. Google Play on Android or the App Store on iOS and iPadOS shows the applicable localized price and currency. Each store restores its own separate entitlement through the account used for purchase.
Journal recovery
Fianso cannot recover journal content after device loss, uninstall, local key loss, data clearing, or reset unless you created a usable portable backup.
